Google Maps give location based information on Hurricane Katrina affected areas.

Greg Stoll created the Katrina Information Map , an application based on Google Maps which allows people to add Hurricane Katrina related information about an area, a street or a quarter on a digital map. Areas can be indicated as damaged, flooded etc.... Some people have left contact details, others described the damage.
