The US Census controversy
Dowell Myers is a professor in the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California, where he directs the Population Dynamics Research Group. Myers holds graduate degrees from UC-Berkeley and M.I.T. He is an urban demographer and housing specialist who integrates demographic data (census, surveys, and projections) with housing, urban planning, and public opinion. Myers has a large catalog of research on trajectories of immigrant advancement. He is the author of the award-winning book, Immigrants and Boomers: Forging a New Social Contract for the Future of America (New York: Russell Sage).
