Tim James is a strategic advisory leader who has held an array of leadership roles in industry, government, and professional services. 

 He is the Executive General Manager at the Menzies Research Centre, the think-tank for the Liberal Party, where he is responsible for operations and finance.   

 Tim earlier worked in the global pharmaceutical sector for eight years where he rose to become CEO of the national industry body Medicines Australia.    

 Tim’s experience in government encompasses over three years as a Minister’s Chief of Staff in NSW and six years in the Howard Government, including nearly five years in the Prime Minister’s Office.  

 He is a lawyer and holds qualifications in business, law, and finance including an MBA.
